We’re packing up to head to Oakland, CA for the Terra Cultura Presents: Plant the Seed Benefit Concert this Thursday! And yeah, we’re pretty excited about it.

People are coming from all over the area and beyond to help make it a magical night—from Davis, Sacramento, Berkeley, San Francisco, Burlingame, Felton, and of course us, from San Diego. If you’re anywhere nearby, we definitely hope to see you there! You can buy tickets online or at the door, for a $25 suggested donation, or pay-what-you-can. It’s for an excellent and worthy cause (if we do say so ourselves), so help us spread the word. All the money raised at this event will go towards our agroecology and arts education programs. You’ll be helping to strengthen and cultivate resilient communities equipped to tackle the social, economic, and environmental challenges we collectively face. You’ll also be helping to build a beautiful new teaching farm and cultural hub where you, your family, and friends will be welcomed and embraced for many years to come.

The line up, including The Gold Souls, SLUGish Ensemble, and Hannah Mayree, is really special, with something stylistically for everyone, including blues, soul, jazz, rock, pop and folk. This is a show you and your mother will both equally enjoy. Also, to let you in on a little secret, the Terra Cultura team was invited to collaborate with the venue on some farm and art themed drink specials, and they’re going to be so delicious.

Since we’ve been headquartered in San Diego, but planning to put down roots closer to the Bay Area, this is a very exciting event for us. Our San Diego community has been so supportive and encouraging, and now we’re thrilled to officially introduce Terra Cultura in Oakland. In addition to putting on the event, we’ll also be scoping out some properties in San Benito County. If all goes well, we’ll have news on that front soon!

See you in Oakland!
